EPLAN
Software & Service, Dez. 2001: Hans Hässig becomes new CEO
EPLAN Software & Service under new
management
EPLAN Software & Service have a new
leader at the helm, who is forging ahead with the ambitious growth plans of this
reputable software house. Hans Hässig, a Swiss national, boasts 24 years of
industry expertise in an American IT group, and has been in charge of the
Monheim-based company since 1 November 2001.
The company was formerly under the temporary
management of parent company Rittal, who have great plans for EPLAN Software
& Service. Not only will there be a greater emphasis on customer orientation;
what is more, there are also plans to step up the company's international
presence.
Hans Hässig is the ideal man for the job, thanks to his extensive experience
abroad and history of customer proximity. He faces an exciting task, in which
the principal challenges are said to be "targeted customer orientation,
heading up the subsidiary of a German industrial group, and the flexible
development of expanding structures". The 48-year-old already has his
sights set on a number of concrete targets. Key priorities include the
intensification of innovative product development, coupled with a targeted
orientation towards industry-specific and process technology requirements. Not
only is Hässig aiming to maintain the high quality standards of all existing
EPLAN solutions, but also to flexibly improve and expand upon them, in line with
customer requirements.
